Jason Fry is the Founder of GROOBS Shoes.  GROOBS simply put, is a company that can give back to the community with the power of the consumer.  GROOBS is a company built for and sustained by the socially attentive shopper.  GROOBS believes that a successful business model going forward for most companies is a business that focuses on community involvement and assistance through the revenues of the goods and services they provide.

Jason is an entrepreneur at his core.  His first successful venture was a lawn business when he was 12 years old.  The company slogan was "Why Ask Why Try Jason Fry, The Lawn Ranger."  Since childhood through today, he has started various other businesses ranging from a fresh fruit and vegetable delivery service - to a successful commercial real estate capital company that is in operation today. 

With GROOBS Shoes, Jason has decided to dedicate his energy and passion for creativity and more importantly people and concentrate on building GROOBS into a socially conscious company that gives back to the many people in need in our communities and abroad with the BOGO FIVE O business model.

Through Jason's vision, energy (hyperness) and unique business plan - GROOBS Shoes is a company that will hopefully be an example to other entrepreneurs going forward as to how they can integrate profit with a purpose in their future companies.

Jason enjoys playing basketball and golf.  He loves to watch college football, read and go to the gym. With that being said, one of his favorite hobbies is beating his 8 year old daughter like a drum at Wii tennis.........a lot.  Also, and not to be ignored - Jason is considered one of the best "Michael Jackson" dancers on the planet..............at least in his mind.  Finally, he thinks he's kind of good at playing the guitar.  You be the judge.....See below.  To make a long story bearable, Jason is a little weird in a good way and really loves helping others and making people smile.   

Jason is 34 years old and is married with two daughters and a son.  He lives in Cypress just outside of Houston, Texas.

Jason's Mom thought it would be really "neato" to have a picture taken of her son sitting on a tree stump holding a baseball and bat with ducks swimming in the background. To make the picture "Super Fancy" the stump has to be placed on shag carpet.
